WE PROVIDE A RANGE OF INNOVATIVE, COST-EFFECTIVE TECHNOLOGIES AS A SOLUTION FOR FLOOR AND FOUNDATION SUBSIDENCE, THROUGH COMPACTION AND STABILIZATION.
WE SPECIALISE IN:
• CONCRETE SLAB AND JOINT REPAIRS
• WAREHOUSE CURLES/ROCKING SLABS
• FOUNDATION PILES
• VOID FILLING
• ADDITIONAL LOAD SUPPORT FOR FOUNDATIONS AND FLOORS
FOUNDATION PILES
Foundations are exposed in 2-meter intervals in the affected area.
Holes are then core drilled through the foundation and into the underlain soil (1.5 meters). Grout is pressure pumped into these holes, filling voids, infiltrating the soil and compacting the weak soil. This stabilizes the soil and creates additional bearing capacity to the foundations. Additional stages can be repeated to achieve deeper depths. This process is a better alternative to conventional underpinning.
ADDITIONAL LOAD SUPPORT FOR FOUNDATIONS AND FLOORS
Injection grouting is a great method to use where additional load bearing abilities are needed for foundations and floors. This application is typically used where double story additions are added, or where mezzanine floors are added on an existing floor and need bearing support.
VOID FILLING
This application is used where ground floors have sagged due to subsidence.
Holes are core drilled through the floors, normally 3-5 meters apart from each other.
Grout is then pressure-pumped into the fill below the floor, filling voids and compacting the weak soil. This process is a far better solution than breaking of floors, replacing the fill material and casting a new concrete floor.
WAREHOUE CURLED/ ROCKING SLABS
Rocking warehouse floor slabs are normally caused due to excessive curling of the concrete slabs. This can affect operations and over time will cause more damage to the slabs. During this application, 16mm holes are drilled next to the joints where curling occurred, and grout is pumped into the void below. The process is fast and cause minimal disruptions to the operation of the warehouse.
