AS STRUCTURAL ENGINEERS, WE ENDEAVOUR TO BE AT THE FOREFRONT OF NEW TECHNOLOGIES, AND USE OUR SKILLS, TO COMBINE NEW AND TRADITIONAL TECHNOLOGIES TO PROVIDE THE CLIENT WITH COST-EFFECTIVE STRUCTURAL SOLUTIONS.

OUR APPROACH INCORPORATES:

• CONVENTIONAL MASONRY
• RE-INFORCED CONCRETE
• STRUCTURAL STEEL
• STRUCTURAL TIMBER
• LIGHT STEEL FRAMING & SPECIALIZED CONFORM DESIGN (I.E RACKING SYSTEMS)
• COMBINATION OF SYSTEMS (E.G. COMPOSITE CONCRETE AND
STRUCTURAL STEEL)

INDUSTRIAL & MINING

We are experienced in the design of large and small spans industrial structures, as well as various structures associated with different mining processors

LIGHT STEEL FRAME

Light steel framing (LSF) is a construction technique that utilizes cold-formed steel sections to create a durable and efficient structural framework for buildings. This method has numerous advantages, including speed of construction, cost-effectiveness, and design flexibility. We proud ourselves in our extensive LSF knowledge and have a long list of successful projects to look back on.

RESIDENTIAL

Structural engineering in residential forms involves the application of engineering principles to design safe, efficient, and durable structures that people can turn into their homes. We design a broad range of residential structures. From small renovations to complex, large new houses.

Winelands Estate

SCHOOL PROJECTS

This application is used where ground floors have sagged due to subsidence.
Holes are core drilled through the floors, normally 3-5 meters apart from each other.
Grout is then pressure pumped into the fill below the floor, filling voids and compacting the weak soil. This process is a far better solution than breaking of floors, replacing the fill material and cast a new concrete floor.

COMBINATION OF SYSTEMS

In structural engineering, a combination of systems refers to the integration of multiple structural techniques and structural building systems to achieve optimal performance, efficiency, and functionality. This approach aims to capitalize on the strengths of each system while mitigating their individual weaknesses, resulting in a well-balanced and robust overall design. By using reinforced concrete, steel, timber and LSF we have achieved some structural wonders.
