What is injection/pressure grouting?

Injection grouting is probably one of the best solutions for sagging ground-level floors (also known as surface beds) and foundations that need reinforcing. It is a reliable alternative to conventional underpinning with improved long-term results.

It is a process where cement-like grout is pressure pumped under either the sagging floor or the compromised foundation. The injected grout fills the void and penetrates the soil, both stabilising and compacting the soil in the process. Injection grouting is the solution insurance providers prefer to use because home owners and office tenants rarely need to move out, it is less messy and comparatively quicker, and overall it is more cost-effective, offering results that stand the test of time.

INJECTION/PRESSURE GROUTING PROCESS

Injection grouting can be used:
As an alternative to conventional underpinning, with improved long-term results
To stabilise subsided surface beds (floor slabs on the ground)
To reinforce existing foundations that need to carry additional load

The benefits of injection grouting are substantial:
Cost-effective solution
Minimal disturbance to plumbing and electrical services, whereas most traditional methods require re-installation
Significantly less intrusive
Quick process reduces discomfort to owners/inhabitants
Improves fill and supporting soil conditions through compaction and cement infiltration
Preferred by most insurance companies.
